Epsom Salt Flakes - Food Grade Magnesium Chemically Pure 1kg

Originally discovered in Epsom, Surrey this salt has been used for years as an additive to your bath water to soak your muscles (promoting relaxation) and aid the recovery of a sports injury.

• Epsom salt has anti-inflammatory properties and helps in combating antigens that cause inflammation.
• It can be absorbed by the skin hence it helps in reducing the lesions that are caused on the skin due to eczema.
• The magnesium salt present in epsom salt is hygroscopic hence Epsom salt absorbs water molecules when applied on the skin.
• Epsom salt when applied on eczema affected skin drains the water from the bacteria and fungus that cause eczema hence does not allow further microbial growth on the skin.
• It reduces the edema and eczema caused on the skin by balancing the acid-base production of the skin.

Epsom Salt is traditionally used in foot baths to help soften skin and soothe sore feet, at the same time reducing the ionic content of the water which reduces the amount of skin wrinkling that occurs during long periods of immersion.

Add 1 - 2 cups to a bath and Soak for 20 minutes.

Once a week is ideal, No more than 2 times a week.

Drink plenty of water to aid in flushing the body and keeping hydrated.
